Description:

The Product Director drives the Healthcare Technologies’ product strategy for one or more modalities. The Product Manager is responsible for the technical capabilities of the field teams, including strategies for technical training and development, productivity, revenue, and margin.

  • Analyzes equipment performance and technical staff performance Define the default service delivery strategy or strategies for responsible modality/modalities

  • Identify revenue and margin improvement opportunities and develop strategies for capture

  • Identify root causes of equipment performance failures and define strategies to address

  • Define the core competencies for the field staff engaged in the service of the responsible modality/modalities

  • Define training and technical development actions to ensure the competencies and capabilities of the field teams

  • Develop strategies to optimize the use of internal labor, parts, OPS, and service contracts programmatically for the organization as well as within given districts or sites

  • Defines and develops investment strategies to support the capability and capacity needs

  • Works closely with the Modality Managers to implement technical strategies

  • The Product Director reports to the VP of Technical Support along with other Product Managers

  • The Product Directors work closely with the Modality Managers to coordinate the execution of all strategies

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in electronic technology, or engineering preferred.

  • Minimum of 7 years experience in the repair and maintenance of imaging equipment, with at least 5 years in area of expert.

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.

  • Extensive knowledge of radiation physics, digital technology and mechanics.

  • Extensive knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to imaging equipment and radiation safety, and protection practices.

  • Ability to deal with high-stress/pressure situations.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
