The Conference Operations Associate Manager is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day management of a conference center. This includes managing all staff and center services.


  • Ensure that all services provided meet the clients' needs and events are run efficiently, which may require liaising with an event organizer.

  • Communicate daily with the management team, planning work schedules and checking client requirements;

  • Respond to customer complaints, comments and enquiries

  • Ensuring all events run smoothly

  • Assist with managing budgets to achieve profit targets

  • Assist with the recruitment, training, organization and monitoring of staff

  • Assist with the sales and marketing of the conference center, including pricing, promotions and promotional materials, image and brand and profile

  • Assist with Negotiating with external service providers and suppliers as required

  • Assist with purchasing equipment necessary for the conference center to operate

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety, licensing laws and other legal regulations

  • Day-to-day troubleshooting and addressing problems as they arise

  • Assist with managing the supervision of the grounds operations and improvement initiatives including, but not limited to, landscaping, tree and shrub removal, flowers and fauna, and snow removal


  • Delivers strong operational performance by executing objectives and regulatory agency standards and programs, continually monitoring operations, completing assessments and developing necessary action plans to provide optimal managed services and drive employee and customer satisfaction

  • Provides operational expertise in the areas of lodging, activities, food and beverage

  • Recommends methods, resources, and implementation for improvement based on operational needs/capabilities

  • Builds, develops, and manages Management team capable of carrying out needed organizational objectives

  • Assisting in the design of improvements to optimize financial performance and operational productivity, Operational Excellence

  • Maintains compliance with Aramark’s standards of operation. Adheres to Aramark’s Business Conduct Policy at all times. Maintains all records and reports to ensure compliance, with all local, state and federal regulations and codes.

  • Ensures compliance to all safety standards, in adherence with Aramark SAFE


  • Requires at least 2 years’ experience and 0-2 years in a management role.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience desired
