JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

Aramark’s Oracle EPM team is responsible for defining strategy, designing, developing, administering and supporting the Oracle EPM solutions that support both accounting and finance business processes. The Hyperion Application Architect plays a key leadership role in the team, collaborating with technical and functional stakeholders to maximize the benefit of the organization’s investment in EPM technology.

EPM applications are used at the enterprise level in support of planning and financial and reporting needs. A major objective of the team is to expand the utilization of EPM technology deeper in the organization. The Hyperion Application Architect will play a role in defining the optimal ways to integrate new solutions with existing enterprise applications.

The Oracle EPM team works closely with the corporate planning group to coordinate and execute monthly projections, SEC filings, management and statutory reporting. As part of the corporate IT organization, the team also works diligently with colleagues in other IT departments relating to the technical system infrastructure requirements and system integrations with diverse, global financial applications.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide thought leadership and Drive product best practices.

  • Develop solutions to leverage Oracle EPM modules, suggest improvements on existing deployed applications

  • Challenge existing processes and recommend change where needed to add value and help reduce on-going maintenance

  • Develop, implement and maintain process flows and contextual diagrams for Oracle EPM solutions

  • Able to develop application from scratch – Planning and Essbase (BSO and ASO)

  • Work on multi-currency planning application

  • Capture and review business requirements and functional specifications with business

  • Documented the technical design and detail design document and other project related documents

  • Work with EPM, BI, Data Warehouse, and Oracle team to deliver enterprise level solutions

  • Support testing and production deployments and provide integration expertise across products.

  • Help develop complex items related to calculations, rules, queries or other items

  • Work with diverse and geographically dispersed groups to deliver the solution

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of and experience with Hyperion Financial Management / HFM (business rules, integration, etc.)

  • Knowledge of and experience with Oracle Hyperion tools like FDMEE, DRM, ODI, EPMA, Essbase Studio

  • Knowledge of DRM

  • Functional background in accounting and/or finance a plus

  • Service delivery in a consulting environment with multiple prior implementations a plus

  • Strong communication and inter-personal skills

7+ years IT experience; 5+ years’ Oracle EPM Planning and Essbase Applications experience
