Position Description

The Marketing Project Manager is responsible for managing and organizing Insights programs for Higher Education in support of core LOB strategies, including but not limited to DiningStyles, and Voice of the Customer. The Marketing Project Manager also updates the intranet site with new tools, manages vendor relationships, budget and works on communications to the field regarding all the above mentioned Insights programs.

Reports to the Associate Vice President of Marketing

Key Responsibilities

  • Creates highly graphic presentations in support of base business growth initiatives, related communications and printed materials.

  • Manages the customer DiningStyles, VOV processes and acts as a central resource for performance measurement data through maintaining the client database. This includes program launch, training, database management, billing and analyzing participation/results. Works closely with external vendors to deploy programs each semester.

  • Design graphic email messages used to communicate Insights initiatives to the field.

  • Collaborate with external vendors to publish, design and edit all marketing communications, printed pieces and reports, then posts to intranet website.

  • Maintain relationships with internal Marketing, Operations and Sales/Retention Teams and serve as a centralized resource for collecting a library of best practices and providing performance metric data.



  • A BS degree in business or marketing is highly preferred

  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in sales (e.g.; retail) and/or marketing program development.

  • A proven ability to increase sales and measure the impact/ROI on implementation of programs

  • A demonstrated ability to be proactive and assertive in identifying and capturing growth opportunities, as well as thinking creatively and strategically.

  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills including presentation, public speaking and client interaction skills

  • Must be able to efficiently utilize social media and MS Office products to accomplish work tasks
