As a UI/UX Developer Technical Analyst, your responsibilities will include designing and developing user experiences and web elements that incorporate the users' needs with mission/business goals and tech capabilties. You will work closely with the BA team to turn functional requirements and work with the development team to ensure the UI components are usable within the framework of the system.
The position will require participation in the development and support of Aramark’s Food Management Process and integrated with Aramark’s proprietary food production software.
Programming/Development , including:
Performing testing on the website(s) to ensure consistent functionality, layout, accessibility, and visual style across multiple browsers and platforms.
Visual design , including:
Creating new designs and layouts for new features or functionality on the website(s).
Updating existing designs on the website(s) to maximize usability and accessibility, and keep a current, consistent experience.
Working with vendors for the creation and updating of designs and layouts for the website(s).
Usability, UI, and UX , including:
Creating wireframes at multiple levels of fidelity for new features or functionality on the website(s) utilizing Axure.
Reviewing and testing current website(s) for best practices in usability and user experience.
Updating current website(s) as necessary to improve usability and user experience.
Web standards , including:
Defining standards for both coding and visual style.
Communicating standards for accessibility, and monitoring compliance with the standards.
Writing and maintaining the Web Standards document.
Associates Degree in Information Technology Field or equivalent work experience is required. Bachelor’s Degree is desired.
Experience with Appetize POS system is a plus.
Two to four years of progressively responsible experience including, but not limited to, in depth, hands on expertise with large and complex hospitality and Point of Sales systems.
Strong analysis, organization, communications, interpersonal skills and project management skills are essential.
Experience with hospitality customer technologies is required.
