Complete Purchasing Services ("CPS") , a divison of Aramark is seeking a Marketing Coordinator for a 1 year maternity leave contract. As the Marketing Coordinator, you will be primarly responsible for events and event content management. Core activities include but not limited to the following: organizing and executing local and regional events (Ontario & Atlantic Canada), managing event app for local and regional events, creating communication campaigns for all regions (excluding Quebec), and organizing, hosting, and executing webcasts. Other projects may include ad hoc campaigns and communications that support organizational value added programs and resources and supplier campaigns. Event Management & Execution
Marketing Program Events (1 day conferences)
Acts as the project lead for any/all regional 1-day conferences.
Works with venues to organize all logistical details pertaining to the event including catering, audio visual and electrical requirements, room set-up, and special requests of exhibitors (storage, food prep, etc.)
Works with speakers to ensure that requirements for a successful presentation are met, and that travel information / speaking dates & times are communicated
Uploads content to and launches CPS events application
Creates communication campaigns and invitations for all events (excluding Quebec)
Organizes and executes any additional event-day promotions and activities
Communicates roles and responsibilities to all staff members
Shares event feedback, statistics, etc. with team
Webcasts Acts as project lead for education webcasts
Creates event in ON24
Creates and records promotional pre-event content in addition to acting as event “host”
Works with speaker and organizes recording, videos, etc.
Acts as event host on the day of event including question and answer monitoring
Shares reporting and general event feedback /comments with speaker and team
Other Marketing Projects
- Ad Hoc Projects Creates and executes marketing campaigns, brochures, etc. as required
Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in a marketing or communications and events planning role in a corporate environment
Must have completed a diploma or degree in business or marketing from an accredited institution
Excellent communication skills (English), both written and verbal
Must demonstrate creative writing skills
Must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision
Must possess strong organization and time management skills
Must be a team player and be able work collaboratively with others
Must have a valid driver’s license and must possess a car`
Must be willing to travel and stay overnight (minimum 3 days) as needed
