The Warehouse Specialist will be responsible for shipping, receiving and packing product consistent with RedMedPar’s shipping/receiving procedures and inventory control initiatives.
Reports Inventory Manager.
Collaborates with warehouse staff to ensure accurate shipping/receiving protocols are being followed.
Works with Technical Operations staff to coordinate inventory movement and prioritize shipments.
Prepares and packs items consistently and accurately to ensure successful shipment and delivery
Ensures receipt of item(s) correctly to maintain a multi-turn environment.
Ships item(s) in accordance to shipping demands to ensure proper delivery commitments.
Monitors inventory movement throughout the warehouse.
Corrects data inconsistencies to ensure proper inventory levels are represented.
Complies with company Import and Export procedures.
Responsible for developing and advising inventory movement processes that reduce waste and inventory shrink.
Coordinates on-time delivery of product.
Works to reduce failures after repairs have been completed.
Complies with ReMedPar’s ISO 9001 inventory management standards.
Recommends and preforms continuous improvement initiatives within the inventory management processes.
High School Diploma/GED required.
Inventory management skills preferred.
Understanding cycle count terminology is a must.
The ability to lift 40 lbs. on a continuous basis for 8 hours per day.
Ability to operate fork lift and achieve fork lift certification.
Ability to input information into an inventory management system accurately.
Ability to follow basic flow charts.
Basic knowledge of MS Office.
Knowledge of financial impact of inventory management.
