Aramark Uniform Services (AUS) provides uniforms and related products to more than 400,000 customers nationwide, in virtually every industry. From designing and manufacturing to laundering and delivering, AUS works with local and national clients to create and maintain a total uniform solution that promotes teamwork and establishes a professional identity. AUS operates from over 200 locations nationwide and has an immediate opportunity for a Key Account Manager in “city”, “state”.

The Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for strategic account management of Aramark’s strategic direct sale customers requiring a dedicated point of contact at a corporate level. The KAM is also responsible for profitably growing existing regional, multi and single location strategic accounts by offering additional products and services, while also increasing penetration by winning new locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, build, and maintain positive business relationships with existing and new Aramark Uniform Services customers

  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profits from existing Regional, Multi-Location, and Single Location Strategic Account

  • Develop contacts and cultivate relationships at all levels within account base

  • Develop account plans to drive repeat business and account growth (Identify lost spend opportunities and specifically create a targeted sales plan to capture leakage)

  • Penetrate the accounts in order to maximize sales volume through additional divisions, departments or business units

  • Accurately forecast financial metrics specific to revenue, gross margin, and incremental growth on a monthly basis

  • Forecast product usage collaborating with customer and internal Supply Chain

  • Maintain regular communication including on-site visits, sales and service level reporting, and presentation of new or alternative products and services (Quarterly in person business reviews or as needed while also utilizing WebEx to control costs)

  • Work with customer service to prepare and present all key performance indicators (KPI’s)

  • Prepare and present key account business information including overall sales, dollars per door, sales at product category levels, inventory carrying costs and outstanding A/R issues

  • Negotiate pricing, value add services and terms of service

  • Track all contract expiration dates, manage the renewal process, develop and implement successful renewal plans

  • Attain annual business growth quota on direct sale working closely with AUS National Account Manager (NAM), Key Account Manager (KAM) and Direct Sales Executive (DSE) teams.

  • Monitor current programs for margin performance and margin growth opportunities

  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of Aramark’s direct sale product offering

  • Generate and present informational reports for all new sales, renewals, accounts at risk or sites losses as requested (operating reviews)

  • Ensure timely and thorough communication of critical customer information (pending contract status, service issues, customer needs) to the appropriate parties

  • Expected to travel up to 40%

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • Proven prospecting, retention and identifying and closing build out opportunities required

  • Competitive drive to achieve sales results
